LegacyConnector on IOT2040

Step 1. Insert a SD cardwith LegacyConnector on the IOT 2040 SD card holder, according to the recommendations in the manual

The device is configured through a web management interface running locally. IOT2040 has two ethernet ports that you can use to access the device management interface .

For an easy startup we recommend connecting your pc to the X1P1LAN and the X2P1LAN to the router with internet acess.

By default :

X1 P1 LAN	IP: 192.168.200.1
X1 P2 LAN	Dhcp
X30 COM	RS232/485
X31 COM	RS232/485
X80	24V Supply

Step 2. Connect an Ethernet cable between your PC and the IOT2040 X1 P1 LAN ethernet port

Step 3. Configure your PC Ethernet interface

IP address	192.168.200.100
Subnet mask	255.255.255.0

Step 4. Open you browser and type http://192.168.200.1

The home page shows the following information:

1	Navigation bar
2	Name
3	Unique ID
4	Equipment Status
5	Actions

Navigation bar	Home, Visual Programing, Signin
Name	Display name of your edge device, can be changed in the configuration page.
Unique ID	The unique identifier of the edge device. You need to provide this information to request a license key
Equipment Status	Information about: connectivity to the cloud, modem status
Actions	A set of actions to: restart the device, trigger a commision message, trigger a measument

Step 5. Authenticate clicking on the Signin button in the navigation bar

The default access credentials:

Username	admin
Password	adminadmin

Step 6. After a successful authentication a new menu entry will appear on the navigation bar called Configuration

Step 7. In this page you can configure the equipment

Time Zone	Set time zone
Latitude	Gps latitude
Longitude	Gps longitude

Step 8. Configure Network – Ethernet Interfaces

1	Interface eth0 Correspont to X1 P1 LAN
2	Interface eth1 Correspond to X1 P2 LAN

Step 9. Configure Network – Modem 3G

1	Enable Modem 3G
2	Modem configuration

Step 10. Configure MQTT

1	Cloud connector
2	Mqtt server
3	Mqtt port
4	Mqtt user
5	Mqtt password
6	Use Mqtt certificates
